Poetry

Irvin Joe Flight (Days Without Menace)
Tom Hibbard

luck made you feel foolish

expressing opinions

about incongruity

decency  as an investment

as the marauding horns  of midnight

allow no one past barriers

no one penetrating with helpfulness

the raging sewerage outflow

sweeping endeavor

and brotherhood into powerlessness

what teaching

comes from the ends of the earth

sullenly barring the spray of adherence

lugging opportunist nets

laws upon laws

without explanation

where have your evenings

sharpened the voiceless anxiety of semblance

the spectral tumult

that misjudges periodic chaos

as extraneous  difficulty
