Routines
Jeremy James Thompson
The very modern think of women when tinkering with silver
spoons. We ourselves are not collectors but try to keep
abreast of what it is that women do. And it is this way that
men are women. Men our women want are all but indiscernible
& even then and only through a clever looking glass. This
was once a sonnet for a woman once a woman's list of things to
do once the price of lingerie. She gets it first commencing
tears her dress with alimony saying curtly we ourselves will
go on bedding fortune's seamstress. Yes she thinks, she'll do
it.
