Poetry

Acclaim will have to wait
Matt Hill

for any ambitiously audacious language
perseverance may be the right principle
to get past any protracted inertial state

with purposeful proceeding by forethought
there's no time to clamor for dumb tributes

by cursing through the mundane barriers
by living through what cannot be unseen
creation sometimes occurs by happenstance

investing in what is intangible surely
weaves the cloth of a larger picture
