from in, Still, mooring
Teresa Miller
A want wants that belies wanting,
a body pacing inside the body smaller
expandable/contractable.
Before the words from the subject mouth
in the object ears were the words
in the ears of the ears,
in the visual ear, the letters in the rows
that don't stutter, that rise
in stacks of lines of lines.
The body inside reaches a smaller hand
to touch the visual of an other,
sights a regard,
a rough skinned shoulder
blade,
an exit from the larger body,
finds the tunnel of a mouth connected to a mouth,
passage away from pacing.
This the hearing hears, this this,
this thud, this gritty shift to a new center,
an outside the body, a recentrifugal.
